Gifting the same starry sky poster to a newborn?
How we make sure you never have a double nursery gift!
You know how it goes. You think you have found a nice gift for a friend, but at the moment you present the gift, you see that someone else has given the exact same thing. With personalized gifts, it’s extra unfortunate because you can’t exchange them either.
Luckily, at MrStarsky we have found something on that for our starry sky products! When you go to order a poster or children’s book from us, our system does a check to see if these details have been entered before. The check is done based on the combination of place of birth + date of birth + time of birth.
What to do in case of an ‘Oops’ message?
Of course, it could be that there is another child’s starry sky with the same data. We therefore recommend that you send us a message, so that we can look into the matter. If it was for another child, you can continue with your starry sky order!
You can do that by clicking away the oops message on the cross at the top right.
A few practical tips:

Sometimes you yourself are the one who causes the ‘Oops’ notification – for example, when you want to order a second poster (for the guest room at grandma and grandpa’s is – we think – the cosiest reason we’ve heard so far!). If so, click the oops message away and continue your order!

Unfortunately, you may also get a notification if you do something wrong during checkout and want to place an order for the same poster or children’s again at a later time. Again, you can skip the notification.
